On October 19, 2023, OnePlus Open debuted its first smartphone. The phone has a 7.82-inch touchscreen primary display with a refresh rate of 120 hertz and a resolution of 2,440 by 2,268 pixels. It also has a second display that is a 6.31-inch touchscreen with a 1,116x2,484 pixel resolution. An octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU powers the OnePlus Open. It has 16GB of RAM built in. The 4800mAh non-removable battery powering the OnePlus Open runs Android 13. Super VOOC fast charging is supported by the OnePlus Open.
The OnePlus Open has three cameras on its back: a 48-megapixel (f/1.7) primary camera, a 64-megapixel (f/2.6, telephoto) camera, and a 48-megapixel (f/2.2, ultra wide-angle) camera.The OnePlus Open has a dual camera arrangement on the front for selfies, with a 20-megapixel primary camera and a second 32-megapixel camera with f/2.2 and f/2.4 apertures.
The OnePlus Open has 512GB of internal storage and runs OxygenOS 13.2, which is based on Android 13. A dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) phone called the OnePlus Open will take Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The OnePlus Open weighs 245.00 grams and has dimensions of 153.40 x 143.10 x 5.80mm. Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black were the colors used for the launch.
Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.30, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with compatibility for Band 40 used by select LTE networks in India), and 5G with active NR are among the connectivity choices on the OnePlus Open.Both SIM cards support 4G. The phone has a fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, compass/magnetometer, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor. Face unlock is supported by the OnePlus Open.
